Håfa adai,

Various views have already been presented among the public about the medium- to long-term impacts and implications of this pandemic, which is said to be once in a century, on politics, economy, and society, as well as the way we live in the future. One of the impacts could be the accelerated progress of digitalization, and the Consulate-General of Japan has launched new accounts on social media, namely Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

It has mainly two purposes. In no particular order, the first is to convey the charm and latest information of Japan to the people of Guam in order to strengthen the friendly ties between Japan and Guam. The second is to provide important information for Japanese nationals and share interesting contents that Japanese people can enjoy during and after the pandemic of Covid-19. I would be grateful if you would follow our social media accounts and share them with your family, friends and colleagues around you.

For those who live in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the Consular Office of Japan in Saipan will start operating Facebook in the near future. Please use that as well.

The Consulate-General of Japan is open during normal business hours even when the pandemic emergency response level is at its highest level (PCOR1) and when the stay-at-home order is valid. If you have any problems, opinions, or requests, please do not hesitate to contact us. The contact information is as follows.
