Japan Exchange & Teaching (JET) Program ( pre-departure cocktail reception )


A pre-departure cocktail reception to send-off this year’s JTE(Japan Exchange & Teaching Program) participants was held at the Consul-General’s official residence on Aug. 2nd. The three participants will be employed by the local governments of Sendai city, Hamamatsu city and Iwaki city(Fukushima) as assistant language teachers for Japanese  English teachers in school located in the area. The three departed Guam for Japan on Aug. 4th.

Note: Six of the seven JET candidates interviewed at this Consulate-General were accepted to participate this year.
