Mr. Hiroyuki Yano, Vice-president of the Japan Kendama Association (JKA) and Mr. Taiga Ogawa (a high school junior), world Kendama champion in 2014 who were invited by GNA presided over the competition as judges. Mr. Ogawa showed his splendid technique at the venue and Tumon Sands Plaza.
The participants took part in the final round on August 15 according to age group, that is, 6 players from 7 or younger, 18 from 8-12 and 3 from 13-16 competed in basic style. A Certification test was conducted after the competition, 2 players were certified as first Dan and 9 players were certified as first Kyu. They can become the first people to be able to conduct certification test in Guam, after they attend a brief orientation in Japan and become a member of JKA.
